24th June 2010 - Public Private Partnership Opportunities in Nigeria

The inauguration of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission ("ICRC") by the Federal Government of Nigeria has set the pace for an orchestrated and concerted plan by the Government to deal with Nigeria's Infrastructure deficit. Public Private Partnerships ("PPPs) are recognised as a viable mode for achieving this end, and the ICRC is the agency charged with the responsibility for developing and implementing the framework for successful PPPs in Nigeria.

ICRC recognises the fact that most successful PPPs are driven by the proficiency of strong international cross-disciplinary synergies. With this underpin, the ICRC intends to constantly engage in activities that attract the right mix of expertise - financial, legal, technical, engineering, and more - to the growing opportunities in Nigeria.

London, being the world's PPP hub, is a good place to start this train of events and briefings in the months to come.
