CBC is delighted to invite you to attend the Africa Business Forum 2010 - "Africa: Success Stories and New Partnerships". This year's event will be held in London on 21st -22nd June, prior to the 36th G8 Summit in Canada. It will be chaired by Pascal Dozie, Chairman of Diamond Bank Advisory Board and the Commonwealth Business Council (CBC).Confirmed speakers include along the others:
• H.E Philemon Yang, Prime Minister, Republic of Cameroon
• H. E. Felix Mutati, Minster of Trade, Commerce and Industry, Zambia
• Thomas R. Gibian, Chairman, Emerging Capital Partners; Washington, D.C
• Dr. James Mwangi, MBS, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Equity Bank
The forum will profile the national investment strategy and focus on business opportunities in the following sectors:

• Agriculture and Food Security
In addition there will be One to One meetings run in parallel and a Project Centre for discussing actual projects, as well as Site Visits upon request on the last day.
The central theme of the 2010 Forum will be Africa: Success Stories and New partnerships. In 2010, over 15 African countries celebrate their 50th anniversary of independence and the World Cup comes to South Africa. At the same time, several of Africa's most persistent challenges remain to be addressed, including the infrastructure deficit. Countries have been affected by the international financial crisis, but many have weathered the storm better than expected. New Investment is being attracted by oil and gas finds as well as revived interest in the untapped potential of agriculture development.
