At the upcoming IPFA Annual General Meeting (AGM), taking place on Monday 20 November, the agenda will include the appointment of Directors to the Board of IPFA. As there are a number of terms due to expire for existing Directors, we have five vacancies to be filled on the IPFA Board. Please visit the links below to see a list of members who have been nominated by their organisation to join the IPFA Board.
About the vacancies
The Non-Executive Director positions will be three year terms, to start on 20 November 2017, and will suit individuals of a senior position. The candidates must be nominated by an IPFA member organisation (each member can make one nomination).
Registration & Voting by Proxy
You can register your attendance to the AGM by clicking on the 'Register' button below.
If you are unable to attend or send a representative from your organisation, the member representative will be able to email your votes or complete a proxy form enabling each member organisation to vote for the candidates you wish to see represented on the IPFA Board of Directors.
A notice has been sent to all member representatives asking them to vote for the candidates they would like to see on the Board. The five people with the most votes will be appointed as IPFA Non-Executive Directors for three years at the AGM in London on 20 November.
We can only process one proxy form / three votes per organisation. Any votes received after the closing time and date of Friday 17 November at 12pm (GMT) will not count.
For further information and to identify your organisation's member representative, please contact Carrie Reid.
Each IPFA member organisation will have the opportunity to vote for their favoured candidates, or alternatively they may appoint the IPFA Chairman, Geoff Haley, to do so (via the proxy form). Once all nominations have been received, a notice will be sent to all member representatives with instructions on how to vote for the candidates their organisation would like to see on the Board. The five individuals with the most votes will be appointed as IPFA Non-Executive Directors for three years at the AGM in London on 20 November. Please note that a member cannot vote for a candidate from the same organisation.
How to apply for a Board Vacancy
Although members can put themselves forward prior to and at the AGM we ask to receive nominations for the Board Vacancies by Tuesday 7 November so that a fair vote can take place. Those being nominated will be required to clear the application through their immediate manager and check the compliance requirements with your firms Compliance Department before submission of the nomination.
Please note that, following your registration, your email address will be added to the relevant regional mailing list to keep you informed of upcoming IPFA operations. Your details will NOT be shared with third parties and you can opt out at any time.
