Infrastructure 2.0 Series – What’s Next?

2018 saw an increase in investment activity in digital infrastructure, EV charging and data centres, hinting at what the future might have in store for the industry. This webinar series will explore the next chapter of projects, with discussion led by key market experts using practical examples to discuss commercial models and investment criteria for these asset classes.

What will the series cover?
• Data Centres
• Smart Cities
• EV Charging
• Battery Storage
• Digital Infrastructure
• District Heating

Session 1: Infrastructure 2.0 – Data Centres
The first webinar in the series will provide insight into how data centres should be viewed in themselves as an asset class across multiple markets. It will deliver an overview of data centre demand drivers at a global level, including the increasing adoption of public cloud services by corporates.

During the session we will analyse different investment factors to be considered in the sector, including for:
• Data centre development projects (location, power, telecoms, anchor customers)
• Already operational data centres (customer mix, customer retention, expansion opportunities)

We will also include a review of the different commercial models deployed by data centre operators in leasing data centre space (wholesale co-location, retail co-location).

The episode will end with a Q&A session, where you will have the chance to put forward any questions for the speakers.
