This is a 1-day immersive course on 20 Sept in London is aimed at those new to project finance or whose experience of the subject is limited. Alex Yew
Independent Director / Advisor / Consultant

Alex Yew has more than 25 years of experience in law, banking, and investments. He has worked internationally on projects in Asia, UK, Europe, Australia, North America, and Latin America.

Alex is currently pursuing a plural/portfolio career focussing on Non-executive Director, Senior Advisor, Investment Committee and Consultant roles. He is a Non-executive Director and Senior Advisor for Europe with Plenary, the international infrastructure investor. He is also a Non-executive Director for GCP Infrastructure Investments Limited, a FTSE-250 listed investment trust focussed on infrastructure and energy debt investments. His most recent executive roles were as Senior Advisor and Senior Managing Director at John Laing, the international infrastructure and energy investor. During the 14 years he worked at John Laing, Alex held leadership roles in Project Finance, New Markets, Strategy, Partnerships, Latin America, and Europe. He was also a member of the senior leadership team and Investment Committee.

Prior to John Laing Alex was a Director in the infrastructure advisory team at CIBC World Markets in London and he was also a banker and lawyer in Southeast Asia. Alex has a law degree from the National University of Singapore and a Masters in Finance from London Business School.
