Mission Control, led by Chris Stark, was established to accelerate the Labour government’s goal of providing Britain with clean power by 2030. In December 2024, the government unveiled the Clean Power 2030 Action Plan, laying the groundwork for the UK to develop a robust energy system. This plan includes bold measures to increase the availability of homegrown clean power to people. In the roundtable discussion, Chris delved into the necessary steps that are needed to achieve the clean power system, from driving investment to building generation and infrastructure. They explored how industry and stakeholders can support and drive the crucial transition.
