Gordon brings 24 years of experience in structured finance spanning securitisation, real estate and infrastructure debt in public bond (US/European) and private markets. He has worked across origination and credit structuring, predominantly at insurer Ambac UK, where he was also a member of Investment Committee. He started his career within Corporate Finance Advisory at Deloitte in London. Today, he is Head of Structured Finance and part of the Alternative Credit Strategies and Long Income Real Estate origination teams at AlphaReal Capital – with expertise in structuring matching adjustment eligible asset-backed bonds and loans for insurance company balance sheets. He has guest lectured on the MSc Infrastructure Investment and Finance at University College London, where he is an Honorary Research Associate at the Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction. Gordon was educated at Trinity College Dublin (electronic & computer engineering), University College Dublin (economics) and the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business (quantitative finance).
