Hugo Teixeira is a senior risk management professional with over 25 years of international experience in underwriting, structuring, and managing complex structured finance transactions. His career spans a broad spectrum of financing solutions, with a particular focus on Project and Leveraged Finance. He currently serves as Head of Risk Management at Siemens Bank, where he oversees all transaction management activities across the EMEA region. His responsibilities include the analysis, structuring, approval, and execution of project, corporate, asset and acquisition financings. Hugo is a member of both the Risk Committee and the Extended Management Committee of Siemens Bank. Previously, Hugo held key leadership roles within Siemens Bank, including Deputy General Manager of the Singapore Branch and Head of Risk Management for Project and Energy Finance in the Asia-Australia region. His earlier career includes roles in credit risk for infrastructure at WestLB, commercial finance and advisory at London Underground, infrastructure advisory at PwC, M&A at Banco BPI, and wholesale banking at Banco Espirito Santo. Hugo holds multiple professional designations: he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA), and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). He earned his Economics degree from the University of Porto and an MBA from Warwick Business School.
