The infrastructure and energy sectors are navigating rapidly evolving geopolitical dynamics and growing demand for future-ready infrastructure. The industry is responding with practical solutions to accelerate decarbonisation and digitalisation and help address growing social inequalities.
In 2027, IPFA’s global programme will explore how changing global and regional conditions are influencing investment priorities and driving innovation in project development and operations.
IPFA membership supports your organisation in strengthening industry relationships, sharing expertise, developing talent and staying connected to the issues shaping global infrastructure and energy.
We will focus on:
- Digital Transformation Data centres and fibre networks, AI applications, and the connection between digital growth and power and water demand.
- Energy Transition Renewables, energy storage, nuclear, grid expansion, electrification, clean fuels and decarbonisation technologies.
- Resilience & Security Energy and water security, supply-chain resilience, cybersecurity, climate adaptation and decentralised solutions.
- Social Licence & Value Social infrastructure, affordable housing, transport, emerging markets, native sovereignty and responsible procurement.
- Mobilising Capital Private capital, PPPs and concessions, partnership models, blended finance and risk-sharing mechanisms.
Delivering this transformation will also require continued investment in people. IPFA is committed to helping members attract, develop and retain the talent needed to build the workforce of the future.
