Charu Suri from IFC, joins our Branch Council in Asia

We are pleased to welcome on board Charu Suri, Senior Investment Officer, Infrastructure Investments, APAC at IFC, as a new member of our Branch Council in Asia:

We asked Charu a couple of questions to get to know her better:

If you could personally change or influence one thing within infrastructure and/or energy, what would it be?

Charu: Unlocking the investment potential in the infrastructure sector through faster, clearer policy reforms and regulatory approval processes.

Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give to yourself at the start of your career?

Charu: Stay curious and constantly seek opportunities to grow. Never hesitate to ask for help, and always be generous in helping others.

What do you hope to bring to the Asia Council?

Charu: I hope to draw on my infrastructure investment experience and network to facilitate knowledge sharing on emerging trends, new investment ideas and barriers holding back investment in emerging markets in the region. My goal will be to help mobilize private sector investment across the region’s emerging markets. I look forward to partnering with my fellow council members to support IPFA’s mission to connect and drive progress in the infrastructure and energy sectors.
