CMS Infrastructure Index: Partnerships, Policies and Geopolitics
This index was produced by CMS, a member of IPFA.
The Infrastructure Index is designed to help investors understand the environment in 50 different jurisdictions. Data from these jurisdictions was analysed against nine key criteria to create a guide to the most attractive destinations for infrastructure investment. The report also looks at developments in some of the countries included in the Infrastructure Index, this year highlighting in particular the situation in Germany, a top-ranked country, and the need for reconstruction in Ukraine.
Alongside the rankings, the 2023 Index also analyses investment trends by region and features interviews with leading industry figures from Africa, South America and Europe. The interviews cover topics such as net zero transition, a global shift towards protectionism, the rapid expansion of digital platforms and the risks and opportunities of AI playing a greater role in critical infrastructure.
