For the first episode, Alex Nouvakhov, Senior Director, Global Infrastructure and Project Finance at Fitch Ratings is interviewed by IPFA’s US Council Member Will Marder, Managing Director at Wilmington Trust. An insightful discussion that explores the performance of traditional renewables, the role of emerging technologies, such as, hydrogen and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and the impact of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
Alex joined Fitch Ratings in 2016, and his primary responsibilities include managing the North America’s Energy & Industrials project finance team, credit analysis and ratings of power and energy projects. Prior to joining Fitch, Alex was with Alaska’ Division of Oil and Gas, where he provided the Division with financial and economic expertise to promote the optimal development of the State’s oil and gas resources and managed a team of commercial analysts. He also has an extensive experience in the banking sector across various fixed-income products.
