The course provides a perspective on the Australian PPP project lifecycle covering procurement, and risk management and how these projects are typically financed using project finance techniques. No prior knowledge is required.
Through discussion of contractual structures, and risk management techniques used in PPP projects, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of Australian procurement process and current trends, how risks are managed and allocated and commercial structuring. Through case studies and exercises participants examine how; project financing is used in these projects, market forecasts and cashflows are used, how project finance structure is documented in debt term sheets, and the impact of counterparties on the structure.
