Nick Ash from Arup, joins our Branch Council in the Asia

We are pleased to welcome on board Nick Ash, Energy Business Leader at Arup, as a Asia Branch Council Member:

We asked Nick a couple of questions:

• If you could personally change or influence one thing within infrastructure and/or energy, what would it be?

Nick: To see more clean energy and transport projects move from concept to delivery, particularly in developing countries, so economies can grow with greater energy security and reduced reliance on imported fossil fuels.

• Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give to yourself at the start of your career?

Nick: Change is constant and accelerating; don’t get stuck in a rut that could lead to your irrelevance.

• What do you hope to bring to the Asia Council?

Nick: A motivation to bring technical perspectives in collaboration with infrastructure and project finance professionals to unlock more transformative projects in Asia.
