Angelo Dell’Atti

Angelo currently serves as Chief Administrative Officer in the Budget and Business Administration Department at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. Within IFC, he has held various leadership roles, including setting up and leading the Corporate Finance Advisory and Equity Mobilization teams globally, establishing and leading the Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) team for Europe and Central Asia, and serving as IFC's Change Manager.
With a career spanning over 25 years, Angelo gained extensive experience as an advisor, financier, and principal investor. He has successfully led teams in more than 60 cross-border transactions across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe. Angelo has been involved in investing over US$5 billion in equity and debt for various projects, primarily in emerging markets, and has advised clients on PPPs, project financing and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) with a similar cumulative transaction value. Angelo's expertise extends to a wide range of financial transactions, including privatizations, PPPs, project finance, and M&As, as well as debt, equity, and mezzanine financing. Pro-bono, he currently serves on the Advisory Committee of MET Community, a non-profit organization promoting sustainable, responsible and innovative female entrepreneurship.
Prior to his tenure at IFC, Angelo served as the director for international finance at the Suez Group, was resident representative and principal banker with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and served as account manager at JP Morgan. He holds a master's degree in Economics from the Universite' Libre de Bruxelles and is a graduate in Business Administration from Universita’ L. Bocconi in Milan. More recently, he obtained the Directorship Certification from the National Association of Corporate Directors in the USA, further enhancing his expertise in corporate governance.
