Brian Tiernan is an Investment Manager with NTR plc, where he is responsible for project financing, mergers and acquisitions, and development activity across the company’s renewable energy funds. His work spans onshore wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects, primarily in Ireland and also in the UK, Italy and France. With nearly 20 years of experience in finance, including the past decade focused on renewable energy, Brian has played a key role in delivering over +750MW of transactions across onshore wind, solar, storage, energy-from-waste and anaerobic digestion assets. These vary from greenfield development through to operational projects. His expertise primarily focuses on M&A but also incorporates project finance and equity raising. Before joining NTR, Brian held senior positions in financial institutions in the UK, Canada and Ireland, including JP Morgan, Northern Trust, and an Irish renewable energy developer, where he established a deep expertise in international investment and infrastructure transactions.
