Femi Fadipe
Director, WSP in the UK
Femi is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 25 years of experience leading and delivering complex infrastructure projects across the transportation, water, renewable energy, real estate, and social infrastructure sectors. His expertise spans strategic planning, operational delivery, and technical investment advisory. He has worked extensively with both public and private sector clients, including international donor institutions such as the World Bank, African Development Bank, European Development Fund, and DFID. His private sector engagements include concessionaires, institutional investors, debt and equity providers, infrastructure developers, commercial banks, and government departments.
His roles have included Project Director, Technical Adviser for due diligence, Asset Manager, Lenders’ Technical Adviser, Project Operations Manager, and Programme Manager. Previously, Femi served as International Technical Director at WSP UK, where he led front-end engineering design for major infrastructure projects. he was Regional Director at Roughton International, overseeing business development, growth strategy, marketing, and financial reporting for the Sub-Saharan Africa region. Currently, Femi is a Director within WSP’s Infrastructure and Investment Advisory business, where he leads the PPP and Property Advisory practice, supporting clients in navigating complex infrastructure investments and public-private partnerships.
He is a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), the Association for Project Management (APM), and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
Femi has served on the IPFA board since 2019 and sits on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion task force & Engage/Content Committee.
