Dr. Julia Kowalle is the Head of Asset Strategy in the Global Structured Finance Department of SMBC Bank International plc in London covering the EMEA region. She has over 15 years of industry experience as arranger, financial modeler, and adviser in infrastructure. Julia started her professional career as a Graduate Trainee with RBS. Amongst other qualifications, Julia holds a PhD in Economics from the Technical University in Berlin, Germany and a Master in European Business from the ESCP-EAP in Paris, France.
