We invite the project finance and infrastructure community to the 16th Africa PPP Infrastructure Finance, Investment & Partnerships Summit, taking place on 11–13 November 2026 at the JW Marriott Hotel, Nairobi.

Hosted by Kenya’s Public Private Partnerships Directorate with the support of the State Department for Public Investments and Assets Management and organised by AME Trade, the summit will focus on moving infrastructure projects from preparation towards financing and delivery.

Speakers on the programme include:
• Hon. John Mbadi Ng’ongo, Cabinet Secretary, National Treasury and Economic Planning, Kenya.
• Dr James Mworia, Chief Executive Officer, National Infrastructure Fund, Kenya.
• Mesfin Tasew, Group CEO, Ethiopian Airlines.
• Eng. Tarik Hamane, Group CEO, National Office for Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE), Morocco.
• Mary Porter Peschka, Regional Director for Eastern Africa, International Finance Corporation (IFC).
• Selam Demissie, Managing Director for East Africa, US International Development Finance Corporation.

For project sponsors, investors, lenders, developers and advisers, the Africa PPP Deal Room offers curated, closed-door discussions on selected projects, financing gaps and investor requirements, with targeted matching and structured follow-up.

Alongside a High-Level Ministerial Roundtable, programme highlights include:
• Building bankable national and subnational PPP pipelines, including Kenya’s priority
infrastructure opportunities.
• Mobilising domestic institutional capital and local-currency finance.
• Using guarantees, blended finance and MDB/DFI support to improve project bankability.
• Financing transport corridors, power systems, ports, special economic zones and industrial parks.
• Structuring water and agri-infrastructure projects, alongside housing, health and education PPPs.

The programme combines a practical project preparation masterclass on 11 November with two conference
days on 12–13 November. Separately bookable technical site visits follow on 14 November.
