Aysha Seedat from Moody’s Ratings, joins our United States Future Leaders Network Committee

We are pleased to welcome on board Aysha Seedat, Lead Analyst from Moody’s Ratings as a new member of our Future Leaders Committee in United States.

Bio:

Aysha is a credit analyst at Moody’s Ratings, specializing in infrastructure since 2020. She’s passionate about this sector because it connects finance to tangible outcomes, whether it’s fresh airport terminals, upgraded toll roads or revamped stadiums, she enjoys seeing the real-world impact of her work. Aysha began her career at JPMorgan Chase in compliance, gaining a strong foundation in the world of finance and the regulatory space before choosing infrastructure as her specialty. This blend of experience has sharpened her analytical skills and deepened her enthusiasm for projects that shape communities.

We asked Aysha a couple of questions to get to know her better:

IPFA: Finish this sentence: The future of infrastructure and energy is…

Aysha: …dynamic. Much of our existing assets are reaching the end of their useful lives, which means we must rethink how we use and develop them to serve a rapidly changing population. Migration between regions, shifts in transportation preferences, and changes in how we consume media and information all demand solutions that are even more adaptable, especially given the significant upfront investment required. The challenge is to create infrastructure and energy systems that can evolve alongside society’s needs, ensuring resilience and relevance for years to come.

IPFA: What do you hope to bring to the Future Leaders Committee?

Aysha: I hope to bring a fresh and energizing perspective to the Future Leaders Committee. Through my role, I’ve built connections across both public and private sectors, giving me access to a wide range of networks and viewpoints. I’m eager to leverage these relationships to foster collaboration, share new ideas, and help the committee stay dynamic and inclusive.
