Ash Pandey, Ashurst Perkins Coie Risk Advisory and William Lysaght, Mizuho Bank now co-chair the Australia Future Leaders Committee

We are pleased to announce that Ash Pandey, Executive, Ashurst Perkins Coie Risk Advisory and William Lysaght, Associate Director, Project Finance, Mizuho Bank, are now co-chairs of the Australia Future Leaders Network Committee:

IPFA recently caught up with Ash and William to ask them a couple questions:

IPFA: What excites you most about co-chairing the Australia Future Leaders Committee and supporting the infrastructure community in the year ahead?

Ash: I’m excited by the opportunity to help create meaningful connections across the infrastructure sector and support the next generation of industry leaders. The Committee plays an important role in bringing together diverse perspectives, fostering professional development, and creating opportunities for members to engage with the key issues shaping Australia’s infrastructure future.

William: Having been involved in the Future Leaders Committee for the past five years, I’m excited to now take on the role of co-chair alongside Ash. I look forward to creating opportunities for emerging professionals to learn from industry leaders, expand their networks and gain exposure to different parts of the infrastructure sector. Over the coming year, we’re planning a range of events that will bring people together to discuss the key issues facing our industry.

IPFA: How do you see the Australia Future Leaders Committee continuing to add value for members and the wider industry?

Ash: The Committee can continue to add value by providing relevant learning opportunities, facilitating cross-sector collaboration, and creating platforms for emerging professionals to build their networks. By connecting future leaders with experienced industry professionals and encouraging discussion on evolving challenges, we can help strengthen both our membership and the broader industry.

William: The Committee has an important role to play in bridging the gap between experienced industry leaders and the next generation of professionals, whether through formal events or informal conversations. Creating opportunities for members to connect, share experiences and learn from one another is one of the best ways we can continue to add value.
