Global Infrastructure Hub: Infrastructure Monitor 2020

Infrastructure Monitor is a report and online tool created by the Global Infrastructure Hub that provides data-driven insights to steer infrastructure actions towards more sustainable, resilient and inclusive infrastructure. It has three key elements:

Infrastructure Monitor 2020 report: The report takes an in-depth look at investment flows between sectors and geographic regions to see whether private investment is helping to close the significant global infrastructure investment gap, and how infrastructure is performing as an asset class.
Data Tool: The Data Tool allows users to explore relationships between infrastructure and development variables to discover how infrastructure investment relates to economic, social and environmental variables. Users can work with the data and create their own charts and graphs (Data Stories) that are shareable on the Monitor website and social media, and can be downloaded for other uses.
Insights: Monitor Insights are bite-sized data points with analysis on a variety of topics related to infrastructure investment and G20 infrastructure priority areas like mobilising private investment and performance of infrastructure as an asset class, and related issues like the impact of COVID-19. Released on a regular basis, the Insights provide an ongoing stream of fresh data and analysis.
