New Australia Council Member from Ashurst
We are pleased to welcome on board Bree Miechel, Partner, Ashurst, as a Australia Council Member:
We asked Bree a few questions to get to know her a bit better:
- If you could personally change or influence one thing within infrastructure and/or energy, what would it be?
Successful collaboration will be critical in achieving timeframes and optimising outcomes in the delivery of our ambitious energy and infrastructure agendas. To achieve this, I would like to influence the embedding of a culture of genuine collaboration within industry and between stakeholders across industry, Government, First Nations peoples and communities.
- Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give to yourself at the start of your career?
There is something to be learned from everyone – listen and be curious, and open to having your views challenged.
- What do you hope to bring to this Council?
A commitment to providing space for diverse views to be heard and considered to shape the future of our industry.
