Elisabeth Heggløv from EY Consulting, joins our Nordic Region Council

We are pleased to welcome on board Elisabeth Heggløv, Partner, Nordic and Europe Central Infrastructure lead from EY Consulting as a new member of our Branch Council in the Nordics.

Elisabeth is a partner at EY Consulting and is part of the Nordic leadership team in Consulting and responsible for the Infrastructure sector in Europe Central. With nearly 20 years of experience as a strategic advisor in major transformation projects, she has developed in-depth knowledge of strategy development, efficiency improvement, benefits realization, digitalization, change management, organisational development, restructuring, and the implementation of new technology at a high strategic management level. She has led some of the largest interdisciplinary transformations in the Infrastructure/public sector in Norway. Elisabeth works in a structured and practical manner, focusing on anchoring and collaboration between internal resources and external consultants to ensure lasting value.

We asked Elisabeth a couple of questions to get to know her better:

IPFA: If you could personally change or influence one thing within infrastructure and/or energy, what would it be?

I see the importance of reducing barriers to innovation and making it easier for stakeholders to adopt new technologies and financing models. I would like to change the bureaucracy serving as an independent and impartial voice for our membership base, I can help set strategies that promote both societal benefit and industry development.

Elisabeth: Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give to yourself at the start of your career?

Be less afraid to trust your own judgement also early in your career. People rarely remember the decks, models, or analyses. They remember how you made them feel!

IPFA: What do you hope to bring to the Nordic Council?

Elisabeth: Experience, strategic thinking and relations to make things happen in our sector.
