IPFA Announces Search for New Chair

IPFA has announced the search for a new Chair following Nick Chism’s intention to step down to focus on new priorities.

Nick Chism, a former Director General and Chief Business Adviser in the UK public sector, as well as Global Chair of Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare at KPMG, has guided IPFA through a transformative period of growth and engagement during his tenure.

Reflecting on his time as Global Chair at IPFA, Nick stated, “It has been a real privilege to serve as Chair. Even though I have known IPFA for 25 years, I have been bowled over by the commitment of our members and the support of Daisy and the team. At a critical time for global infrastructure, IPFA plays such a vital role bringing together members from the public and private sectors, across different markets and sectors, to share new ideas and spark new connections.”

He continued, “I am proud of the way that IPFA has navigated the uncertainty of recent years. Membership is at record levels. Engagement is up substantially. Our Learning programme has been totally refreshed. We are more joined up globally. And our Future Leaders Network is thriving. It is satisfying to hand over with IPFA in such an exciting position.”

Daisy Brooker, Chief Executive at IPFA, said “Nick has made a tremendous impact on IPFA, guiding us through periods of change and helping the organisation emerge stronger than ever. His strategic vision and dedication have left a lasting mark, and we are deeply grateful for his service. On behalf of the Board and membership, I want to thank Nick for his invaluable contributions, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”

IPFA has begun the process of selecting a new Chair, and Nick will remain in his role until the end of the year. For those interested in the Chair role, you can contact IPFA directly, see contact details below.
