Finish the sentence. The future of infrastructure and energy is…

…growth! The ever-increasing demand for essential services, including housing, public utilities and energy, underscores the vital role key infrastructure and energy projects will play in shaping the future of our society. The timely deployment of more renewable generation, together with technological innovations (like smart grids and storage) and grid network upgrades are essential in satisfying demands in a sustainable way. Similarly, for infrastructure projects, the need for sustainable choices, in light of our climate goals, will become increasingly important in determining which projects go forward. Significant progress has been made but there is a long way to go, and ambitious Government policy, aimed at removing consenting barriers, incentivising renewable development and unlocking access to capital will be central to sustainable infrastructure and energy development.
