Headshot of Liz Sophie Semmos, Consultant, Grant Thornton

Liz’s Bio:

I work in the valuation of renewable energy assets at Grant Thornton Germany, helping to inform decisions in regulatory, strategic, and transactional contexts that contribute to the energy transition. My role allows me to explore how finance and infrastructure intersect to deliver cleaner, more resilient energy systems that ultimately aim to serve both people and planet. Through the IPFA Future Leaders Network, I look forward to exchanging ideas and building connections to help shape a more sustainable and reliable energy future.

1. Finish this sentence: The future of infrastructure and energy is…

… a shared effort to build systems that are clean, reliable, and accessible.

2. What do you hope to bring to this Future Leaders Committee?

I bring experience in renewable energy finance as well as a strong motivation to help shape the conversation around the future of infrastructure and energy. I’m particularly interested in how energy systems can evolve to be both sustainable and reliable. With curiosity, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset, I look forward to contributing to the committee’s work, supporting emerging voices, fostering meaningful exchange across the industry, and learning from the perspectives of peers along the way.
