Tim Bitterlich from Simmons & Simmons joins the Germany Future Leaders Committee
We are pleased to welcome on board Tim Bitterlich, Supervising Associate, Solicitor of England & Wales – Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure from Simmons & Simmons LLP as a Germany Future Leaders Network Committee Member:
Tim’s Bio:
I am an English law qualified lawyer at Simmons & Simmons LLP (in Frankfurt) focusing on energy, natural resources and infrastructure development and finance. I regularly act for project sponsors, developers and financiers in these sectors, with a particular regional focus on Europe, Africa and the Middle East.I would describe myself as people person – I derive meaning from my interactions/discussions with others, not from sitting at my desk, with a closed door. I am therefore keen on the opportunity to join the Future Leaders Committee to help drive conversation around the energy and infrastructure sectors.
1. Finish this sentence: The future of infrastructure and energy is…
now. Today’s decisions shape the grids, roads, and renewable energy sources that we will depend on for decades to come.
2. What do you hope to bring to this Future Leaders Committee?
I hope to bring a forward-thinking, solutions-driven perspective grounded in real-world infrastructure and energy experience. With a passion for sustainable innovation and cross-sector collaboration, I aim to contribute fresh ideas, challenge the status quo, and help shape strategies that are both future-ready and practical.
