Kaan Ozelmas from Mott MacDonald, joins our North America Future Leaders Network Committee

We are pleased to welcome on board Kaan Ozelmas from Mott MacDonald as a new member of our Future Leaders Committee in the North America.

Our North America Operations Manager, Carol Todd, recently caught up with Kaan to get to know him better:

Kaan: The future of infrastructure and energy is creating more value with fewer resources. As technology and sustainability redefine the industry, success will be measured not only by economic returns, but by our ability to build resilient systems, improve performance, and deliver lasting value where it matters most.

Carol: What do you hope to bring to the FLN Committee?

Kaan: I hope to contribute a perspective on how investment decisions ultimately translate into delivery outcomes. In my experience, strong ideas and committed capital are not enough on their own. Value is created when financing, risk, and delivery work together and are driven by a clear focus on outcomes.

I am particularly interested in how emerging technologies, including AI, and evolving delivery models can help close that gap. As the industry faces increasing demands around sustainability, resilience, and efficiency, it needs to move beyond traditional approaches toward solutions that are both innovative and practical to deliver.
