AGM 2026 Board Vacancies

AGM 2026 Board Vacancies

Would you like to help shape the future direction of IPFA?

We are inviting nominations from members for three non-executive director positions on the IPFA Board, which will become available at the upcoming AGM.

We have three vacancies to join the IPFA Board as a non-executive director for a three-year term at this year’s AGM.

One vacancy is designated for a Future Leaders Network (FLN) representative. The remaining two vacancies are general Board positions, and we particularly welcome nominations that help address the current Board composition priorities set out in the guidance.

Board Vacancies & Nominations

To ensure that we are aligned with the interests of the membership and industry, the process for Board applications identifies the areas and attributes currently underrepresented at Board level and highlights these as preferable attributes for nominations.

Applications from all sectors within infrastructure and energy are permitted and it is important to note that we will receive applications from any of our members globally but would particularly welcome applications from those who meet the identified criteria.

How to Apply

All nominations must be approved by the nominee’s member organisation. Candidates must be IPFA members, and only one nomination may be submitted per member organisation. To apply:

  1. Read the attached Board Role Description.
  2. Review the attached Board Composition Policy & Nomination Guidance.
  3. Complete and submit the application form by 30 September 2026.

Registrations & Voting by Proxy

The AGM is open to all members and is a chance to hear more about IPFA’s plans and priorities for the year ahead. You can register to attend the AGM either virtually, or in person in London, on our website.

If you are unable to attend or send a representative from your organisation, you will be able to complete a proxy form enabling you to vote for the candidates you wish to see represented on the IPFA Board of Directors, or appoint the Chair as proxy to vote on your behalf.

This will be available from Wednesday 7th October. For further information or to change your organisation’s member representative, please contact us.
